About
Facing criticism that Wings were a glorified Paul McCartney solo project, Sir Paul opened the songwriting to the other members. Further, though this album is known for the massive hit singles “Let ‘Em In” and “Silly Love Songs,” the underrated McCartney composition “The Note You Never Wrote” was sung by guitarist Denny Laine, who contributed the excellent “Time to Hide.” This remaster was done at Abbey Road studios with McCartney overseeing the team that worked on the exquisite 2009 Beatles remasters.
