About
House of Mayors is the 2nd solo EP released by John Linnell through the Hello Recording Club. Very much like State Songs, its predecessor, it is a concept EP. When asked what he'd do while John Flansburgh toured with Mono Puff he said this: "I'm working this summer on a project to be released as a Hello CD-of-the-Month called House of Mayors. It's a mostly instrumental tour through an imaginary exhibit of New York mayors, sort of like the Hall of Presidents at Disneyland." The cover was taken on a Connectix Quickcam, an old webcam TMBG used many times before. .
