Def, Dumb & Blonde is Deborah Harry of Blondie's third solo record. It was released in October of 1989 and marked the official change of her professional name from Debbie to Deborah. The singles included "I Want That Man", "Kiss It Better", "Brite Side", "Maybe For Sure" and "Sweet and Low". Deborah worked with producer Mike Chapman, who produced Blondie's Parallel Lines, Eat To The Beat, Autoamerican and The Hunter, on this record in order to find a sound that's reminiscent of the band’s last 4 records. She also worked with Toni C. and Blondie's guitarist Chris Stein (both worked .
