Originally released May 10, 2005 by Drive-Thru, Geffen Based on a True Story is the second studio album by American pop punk band The Starting Line, the follow-up to The Make Yourself at Home EP was released by Drive-Thru Records and Geffen Records on May 10, 2005. The album was mainly produced by Tim O'Heir, except for the songs "Making Love to the Camera", which was produced by Eric Rachel, "Bedroom Talk" and "The World", which were produced by Howard Benson. The latter were originally also produced by O'Heir, but were re-recorded as Geffen was not satisfied with how the .
