Barenaked Ladies' music is so fun-loving and lighthearted to begin with, the leap to children's music is a short one—though the pranksters can't help but take a slyly unconventional approach. “Food Party” is basically Frank Zappa-inspired art pop, but tailored to rug rats. Just as infectious is “The Ninjas,” on which the group pays tribute to the “deadly and silent” assassins.
