"This Is Your Bloody Valentine" is the 1985 debut mini-album from shoegaze band My Bloody Valentine. Recorded in late 1984 and unlike the band's future output, the band took influences from post-punk and garage rock bands such as The Cramps and the Birthday Party. The album was recorded in Berlin, Germany, upon the advice of Gavin Friday of The Prunes, who told the band to "Get out of Dublin". Not only this, but the half the band's lineup was different, featuring Kevin Shields on guitar, Colm Ó Cíosóig on drums, David Conway on vocals and Tina Durkin on keyboard. The .
