About

Bajo Belgrano is Spinetta Jade's third studio album, released in 1983. The lineup changed, with César Franov replacing Frank Ojstersek on bass, and Diego Rapoport (keyboards) leaving the band. This meant the band no longer had two keyboards, an essential element that had characterized Spinetta Jade's sound on their first two albums, and became a quartet. On this album, Spinetta's sound toned down the jazz influence that had dominated his music since 1976, leaning more towards pop while also incorporating some elements of tango. The official launch was held alongside Spinetta's sixth solo album, Mondo di Cromo, on December 3, .
