About

From 1975, a period when Chris de Burgh was not so well known... contains 10 ballads, including a three: A Spaceman Came Travelling, Spanish Train, and Patricia the Stripper which all got strong radio play at the time. The album has none of the orchestral and grandiose flamboyance that colours his later work, and is one of his better albums because of this: not quite an intimate "unplugged" effort, but nonetheless one that feels closer / more conversational than others. The LP was banned briefly in South Africa because the title track contained lines considered blasphemous - though it is .
