About
One of the most compelling young emcees coming out of New York today, Action Bronson hails from Flushing, Queens, and has been doing his thing for the last several years. In 2011, he released four different high-quality projects, most notably Bon Appetit...Bitch!!!!!, Dr. Lecter, and Well-Done, produced entirely by Statik Selektah. In late 2012 he teamed with Alchemist for the exceptional Rare Chandeliers, and here he returns for a seven-track EP crafted by indie producer Harry Fraud. Throughout Saab Stories, his rhyme style is alternately frantic and smooth, with a vocal tone similar to Ghostface Killah's, atop loop-driven beats that perfectly match his style. Wiz Khalifa appears on "The Rockers" while Prodigy and Raekwon share the mic for "Seven Series Triplets." But the real star here is Action himself; he's especially impressive on joints like the dreamy "Triple Backflip" and the throwback anthem "Strictly 4 My Jeeps."
