About

As previously heard on albums like Bitches Brew, Miles Davis and producer Teo Macero used post-production sound editing on Live-Evil, blending different takes to create final tracks. This time, they mixed live jams and studio recordings, and the result is a heady concoction: “Sivad” splices takes of “Directions” and “Honky Tonk” into a new composition with a fresh feel, while John McLaughlin’s electric guitar enlivens “Gemini / Double Image” alongside percussion from Hermeto Pascoal.
