About

After the artistic success of the country music EP Town Line, Staind's Aaron Lewis has put together a full-length album celebrating all things country & western. Lewis is a natural, too. He sounds completely at home with an acoustic guitar, a pedal steel, and thick county harmonies supporting these tales of classic Americana. "Endless Summer" relishes a world of sun, fun, and fast cars. "Red, White & Blue" sways as a sweet and sentimental look at a military family and the importance of tradition and standing up for your freedoms. "Lessons Learned" features more homespun wisdom, while "Grandaddy's Gun" and "State Lines" sound like heartland rockers that any number of lifelong country singers could have put on their albums. Not bad for a rock kid from Longmeadow, Mass.
