It’s no exaggeration to say that many Van Halen fans have waited their entire lives for this concert album. Never before has Van Halen released a live album with David Lee Roth leading the band. Sammy Hagar certainly has his fans, but it’s no secret that many only consider it "true" Van Halen when DLR is making his crazy whoops and bizarre side remarks. The energy here is contagious, with Diamond Dave giving a true rock performance and Eddie sizzling on guitar through six (!) tracks from their 1978 debut and four each from <i>II</i> and <i>1984</i>. Now maybe something from the Fair Warning tour? Pretty please.
