El Valle Interior is the third and final studio album by Argentine band Almendra, released in 1980. In late 1979, Almendra's long-awaited return took place, marking a significant milestone in the Argentine music scene at the time. After a series of concerts and a forced hiatus, during which Luis Alberto recorded Spinetta Jade's first album, they finally completed the recording that would document what Almendra could sound like in the '80s. This production was recorded in the USA, at Conway Studios in Los Angeles. More than just a mere "souvenir" of the reunion, the recording rightfully became one of the .
