"Repentless" is the twelfth and final studio album by American thrash metal band Slayer, released on September 11, 2015. It is the band’s only album recorded without guitarist Jeff Hanneman, who died of liver cirrhosis in 2013. Guitarist Gary Holt performed on the album, while Hanneman received a songwriting credit for the track "Piano Wire". It is also the first Slayer album to feature drummer Paul Bostaph since "God Hates Us All" (2001). "Repentless" is the band’s only release on the Nuclear Blast label and was produced by Terry Date, replacing Rick Rubin after a long collaboration that spanned twenty-nine .
