About

Released in 1981 under EG Records, Let The Power Fall is an album of "experimental" but quite* listenable musical tracks based on Robert Fripp's playing of recorded and looped guitar "segments" with limited effects. Starting with an initial "segment" made up of a single guitar sound or progression, these segments are then dubbed in loops across two tape machines whilst adding new guitar "segments" with varying delays, the whole thing gradually building into a unique "chorus" of sound on each track. All tracks on the album start at a relatively slow pace and develop in fits and starts into rich, .
