About
Anyone who's ever longed for the weekend will know why "Friday on My Mind" is straight-up ‘60s rock perfection. But there was more to Australia's Easybeats than their one American hit: The Vanda/Young team wrote tough, tuneful pop and rock songs with hints of psychedelia, and producer Shel Talmy brought the crunch he gave The Kinks and The Who. "Do You Have a Soul" oozes attitude, and it doesn't get scrappier than their take on Ike & Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High."
