About

Nearly a decade after the demos were leaked, the Long Island rockers officially released these uninhibited recordings that show the band very much in experimental mode. Hints of Radiohead permeate the bass- and reverb-soaked Nobody Moves and Luca, a poignant ballad built on a ringing acoustic loop. Its an emotional collection, too, with Jesse Lacey reflecting on the freshness of young love and the terror of seeing a loved one go to war, a theme that gives the beautifully raw Yeah (Sowing Season) the pain and passion of Cobain unplugged.
