A year on from their debut, two of Busted have left their teens–which simply means refocussing their hormonal affections from schoolgirls and teachers to brides (“Crashed the Wedding”), and the titular “Air Hostess“ (“I messed my pants when we flew over France”). Moving ever closer to Blink 182, their riffs have got louder and their basslines grungier, while the hooks are still pin-sharp. Wisely they’ve also retained their sense of mischief–even if “Why” confidently opens a path into earnest hard rock.
