"Every time my mom texts me she greets me as "Nak Ko" or "Anak Ko" which translates to "My Child." I've always found that the most comforting term and it became these safe words that ultimately turned into the title of the record. I've talked to other musicians that view releasing an album metaphorically similar to birthing a child. You take care of and nourish this important thing then you release it into the world.".
