The Band's fifth album.
Released 24 I 2005
Lead vocals on Life Burns! and Bittersweet by Lauri Ylönen from The Rasmus (with additional vocals on the latter, by Ville Valo from H.I.M. (opens in a new tab)).
Instrumental composition "Quutamo" was used as basis of three vocal songs: "En Vie", "Wie Weit", and "How Far" (featuring Manu [formerly from Dolly (opens in a new tab)] on the first, and Marta Jandová [from Die Happy] on latter two). The earliest one also appeared on standard editions of this album, as hidden track, occurring two minutes after the end of the last track "DeathZone". On Special Edition (opens in a new tab)s of this album, all three songs appeared as standalone tracks.
Although "Betrayal/Forgiveness" was instrumental, the song's "lyrics" were printed on booklet. This track featured Dave Lombardo (formerly from Slayer) on drums.
2008 reissue of this album (opens in a new tab) (based on its Special Edition) included two cover songs: "My Friend Of Misery" (originally by Metallica) and "South Of Heaven / Mandatory Suicide" (originally by Slayer).
