Assassine(s) is a Metal album by Celeste, originally released in 2022. On Gatefold: 10 pressings tracked.
About
Assassine(s) refers to the French word, which comes from the Latin term 'assassinus' and French is a romance language, a product of Latin. In English, it only refers to the murdering of 'important' political figures (they are all liars and do not care about the people, democracy is not even real) or contract/hired killers/hitman. 'Asesino', the verb being 'asesinar' is also a more serious word for killing/murdering in a violent context tied with treason in Spanish, which is also a romance language. Therefore, Celeste are basically calling us murderers and our own traitors besides animals which circles back to Animale(s) and the tangent on Morte(s) Née(s). The artwork features extensive (female) nudity and various male hands scrutinising her body. Could be interpreted as the murder of innocence. .
