By far the best of Dupree's three albums for Bullseye Blue, this collection was cut during the pianist's first trip home to the Crescent City in 36 long year. Dupree sounds happy to be back in his old stomping grounds throughout the atmospheric set. Recording was with his longtime accompanist Swedish guitarist Kenn Lending helping on a half dozen tracks and a crack New Orleans band including guitarist Wayne Bennett, trumpeter Teddy Riley, bassist Walter Payton Jr., and tenor saxman Alvin "Red" Tyler play on the remainder. .
