Originally released in 2015 as a DJ set for Blowing Up the Workshop, Blowing Up the Workshop 48 was rereleased as a full album in 2022. CFCF describes it as “some as-yet unreleased pieces that have been sitting on my computer for anywhere between 2 years and a week ago. This stuff is all over the place sonically. Some have beats, some have vocals, some are jazzy and some are groovy.” Depicted on the cover is a recreation of Marcel Duchamp’s 1920 piece “Fresh Widow.”.
