Brutal Dawn by Bernard Fanning

Brutal Dawn is a Rock album by Bernard Fanning, originally released in 2017. On Gatefold: 3 pressings tracked.

About

Former Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning experienced a creative epiphany, completing a two-part album that deals with memory and the passage of time. Brutal Dawn is the companion to 2016’s Civil Dusk. It’s a less rustic affair; “Isn’t It a Pity” draws inspiration from ‘70s greats like Bill Withers and The Band with its luscious strings. Fanning demonstrates wisdom on “In the Ten Years Gone” and “Letter from a Distant Shore.” Drop them on your next road-trip playlist and feel transported.
