Clear Moon is an Electronic album by Mount Eerie, originally released in 2012.
About
Clear Moon, the first of Phil Elverum’s two Mount Eerie records from 2012, sees the Washington state songwriter exploring tranquil sounds that also conceal a mysterious sense of unease. On opener “Through the Trees, Pt. 2,” Elverum ponders “mountains and websites” over a gently strummed acoustic guitar, while songs like “House Shape” and “Yawning Sky” come shrouded in a dense fog of synthesizers and pitter-pattering drums. It’s a bleary collection even by Elverum’s standards, but it's nonetheless beautiful.
