The album Come and Join Us was released in 1977 on Myrrh Record. It was Petra's second album on this label, and Greg X Volz appears as guest lead singer on some of the song. By the next album he had become the band's lead singer. Unfortunately this album did not sell well and neither did the first one, and Myrrh records had to let them go, which left the group without a record contract. .
