Cool Rasta is a Reggae album by The Heptones, originally released in 1976. On Gatefold: 7 pressings tracked.
About
With beats as velvety soft as they are sweet and sultry, this special release from The Heptones combines the original tracks from Book of Rules with a selection of dub mixes. From the groove-heavy "Black on Black (Be a Man)" to the delectably spooky "Over and Over," the achingly sweet vibe of the devotional title track to the funky horns of the slow jam "Autalene," this kind of classic reggae never goes out of style. The sparse dub versions add a sense of mystery and enchantment.
