John Otway's first 'Hit' single reached the dizzy heights of Number 27 and could have progressed further had he not had an unfortunate incident involving his family jewels and an amplifier during a live performance in front of millions of TV viewers on the BBC's 'Old Grey Whistle Test'. It would be another 25 years before he would achieve his second Hit!
