About

The UK metalcore vets rerecord their debut for its 20th anniversary. For the 20th anniversary of their debut album, British metalcore superstars Bring Me the Horizon rerecorded Count Your Blessings in its entirety. Frontman Oli Sykes and guitarist Lee Malia holed up with Swedish producer Buster Odeholm (Humanity’s Last Breath, Vildhjarta) at Sykes’ Brazilian pad to reenvision the band’s 2006 deathcore breakthrough with more modern, expansive production. Most of the tongue-in-cheek song titles, like “Tell Slater Not to Wash His Dick” and “For Stevie Wonder’s Eyes Only (Braille)” remain, although fan favorite “Liquor & Love Lost” appears under its original title, “Dragon Slaying.” Our Favorite Track: The Repented version of the album closes with “Dehumanized,” a newly recorded bonus track partly inspired by Argentine author Agustina Bazterrica’s 2017 novel, Tender Is the Flesh, which imagines a world where all animal meat has been contaminated and cannibalism becomes legal.

Notes from the original pressing. Later editions may differ.

Re-recorded for the 20th anniversary.
Track A3 is written in uncontracted braille, its transcription is "For Stevie Wonders Eyes Only".
"Liquor & Love Lost" uses its demo name "Dragon Slaying" for the re-recorded version.
"Dehumanized" is a new song, not featured on the original album.
Housed in a gatefold with embossed cover art and art inlay.
Comes in a custom inner sleeve, and with a 12-page booklet and a double-sided poster.
The hype sticker was marketed to include the band name, album title, and tracklist on it but was misprinted to be very hard to read. While the band name and "Side A." / "Side B." are legible, the album title is very faint, and the tracklist is borderline illegible unless backlit and held at the right angle.
The catalog number appears on the spine, back cover, poster, inner sleeve, and center label.
Tracklist appears on the center labels.
Side A runouts contain mirrored characters: "2-".
Side B runouts contain mirrored characters: "2=".
Lacquer Cut At / Lacquer Cut By credits are credited as "Vinyl cut by Naweed At Whitfield Mastering, London" in the booklet.
