About
"Depart From Me" is Cage's third full-length solo album, to be released June 29, 2009 on Definitive Jux Records. Tracks expected to be included on the album include "I Found My Mind in Connecticut," "Nothing Left to Say," "Depart From Me," "I Never Knew You," "Beat Kids," "Eating It's Way Out of Me," "Dr. Strong," "Fat Guy," and "Hugs and Kisses," along with others yet to be revealed or given official titles. Cage has said the album will feature no samples, a great deal of live instrumentation and limited guest appearances. El-P and F. Sean Martin are said to have done the lion's share of producing on the disc, along with Aesop Rock and the late Camu Tao. Cage will release an EP entitled "I Never Knew You" in April through Definitive Jux Records and Adult Swim, containing a reported 7 tracks. The EP will be a free online download.
