About

Different World is the 18th album by Uriah Heep, recorded and released in 1991. It was a continuation of a path the band had taken with their previous album. The music on Different World is heavily influenced by Arena Rock and Pop Metal. It was the first album since 1980's Conquest, to feature all songs written by the band. It was also the first one not to have a single released in the UK. The album was remastered in 1998 with 3 bonus tracks and then again in 2006 as an expanded deluxe editition with 4 bonus song. It was the second of four albums recorded by the most stable Uriah Heep line-up, that featured: Bernie Shaw Mick Box Trevor Bolder Phil Lanzon .
