About
A sprawling labyrinth of sound collage and multilayered head humor, Don’t Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers is one of the most complex comedy albums ever constructed. On the surface, its surreal narrative chronicles the story of George Leroy Tirebiter, a former child actor who now wastes his time watching his old movies on television. But the storyline is really a launchpad for The Firesign Theatre’s satirical takedown of Cold War-era America and its addiction to crass commercialism and unwavering patriotism.
