Just in case Pink Floyd's 1973 masterpiece <i>Dark Side of the Moon</i> wasn't quite spaced-out enough, thirty years later, a loose collective called Easy Star All-Stars gave us their own unique spin on it, a completely dubbed-out version, saturated with the requisite freaky sound effects, reggae instrumentation, and reverb galore. A tremendous hit both critically and commercially, it has remained on the Billboard Reggae charts ever since, and led to their re-imagining of other classic albums from Radiohead (a revamped <i>OK Computer</i> called <i>Radiodread</i>) as well as the Beatles (<i>Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band</i>). This follow-up is decidedly more dub than Floyd, with a diverse assortment of producers (Mad Professor, Dubmatix, Groove Corporation, Dreadzone, Alchemist, and many others) contributing some exceptional remixes. Don't miss "Us and Them," "Time," On the Run," and "Step It Pon the Rastaman Scene."
