Marketed in 1970 by Atlantic as "Playable at any speed, 45, 33 or 16 rpm... Designed for continuous playback (the eight track stereo tape is a continuous loop) the record plays for a full hour on each side at 16 rpm".
The first 45 minutes of the 1987 CD release is the same as track 1 of the original recording, just slowed down by 34% (equivalent to playing the LP at ~22 RPM). It then continues on for another 15 minutes with previously unreleased sound.
