About

Epitaph (Live, 1969) is a live 4-CD set of concert performances and radio sessions from 1969 by the band King Crimson, released in 1997. Volumes 1 and 2 (Discs 1 and 2) were available in retail shops, and the set included a flyer with instructions on how to obtain Volumes 3 and 4 (Discs 3 and 4) via mail-order. In 2006, volumes 3 and 4 were released independently as a 2-disc set via DGM.

A 4-volume collection of King Crimson's radio sessions and live recordings from 1969. The original version was a 2xCD box (Volumes 1 & 2) that also had space for Vol. 3 and Vol. 4, initially only available via mail-order. Later versions bundle together Volumes 1 & 2, or Volumes 3 & 4, or the collection as a whole, with or without bonus material.
The dates for the Fillmore West shows are incorrect due to mislabelled tapes. The tracks on Volume 1 ("14 December") are actually from the 13th, and those on Volume 2 ("15 December") are actually from the 14th.
