One of the most consistent and prolific producers working today, Boston's Statik Selektah first hit the scene alongside Massachusetts rapper Termanology and has since become a star in his own right, hosting a long-running radio show on Shade 45, cooking up explosive beats for countless emcees, and putting out a group of exceptional albums. He's dropped collabo projects with Bumpy Knuckles, Reks, Freddie Gibbs, Saigon, and Strong Arm Steady, plus his own compilation-style albums like <i>Spell My Name Right</i>, <i>Stick 2 the Script</i>, and <i>Population Control</i>. On <i>Extended Play</i>, he hooks up with rookies and vets alike, assembling an impressive guest list that includes Raekwon, Joey Bada$$, Blu, Posdnous, Talib Kweli, Bun B, Smif-N-Wessun, Mac Miller, Action Bronson, and many more.
