About
Chris Brown and Tyga released the mixtape <i>Fan of a Fan</i> in 2010. Since then, their music has often dedicated itself to the pursuit of of wealth and women–such is the dominance of those tropes on this full-album follow-up. The infectious “Ayo” and “Nothin’ Like Me” are the standout bangers, but the pair are at their most engaging with regret thrown into the mix (“Better”) and when the braggadocio becomes less sexualized on the austere, bullish “D.G.I.F.U.”–which features a typically impeccable verse from Pusha T.
