About
Grime MC is the fourth album by grime rapper Jme. It was initially released exclusively on physical formats on 29 November 2019 independently on Boy Better Know, later being available digitally at New Years of the same year. Several years in the making, Grime MC was created in response to the rise of music streaming in recent year, which Jme touches upon in “96 Of My Life”. The album has been the subject of several live cinema show tours in Everyman Cinemas in the UK since the start of 2019, with videos for selected songs being showcased for audiences to enjoy differently to the norm of music emerging on streaming and YouTube video. .
