About
Pennsylvania hardcore freaks Pissed Jeans traded up to the Sub Pop label for their sophomore release, <i>Hope for Men</i>, but from the sound of the album, you’d think they never left the basement. Frontman Matt Korvette laces his tales of everyday minutiae with unholy noise and a paranoid sense of urgency, screaming about his love for sweets on the pounding “I’ve Still Got You (Ice Cream)” and yelping about being under the blankets as the band melts down around him on “My Bed.”
