Gone is Plan B’s soulful croon; in its place is a brutal hip-hop record about the demonization of the British working class. The title track explores the roots of the 2011 London riots, while Ben Drew’s fictitious scenarios document trafficked sex workers, racist foster homes, and the way poverty ruins lives. It’s a hardcore listen that takes added gravitas from its orchestral soundtrack.
