About
The follow-up to The Normal Album and Will Wood's second album released after dropping the Tapeworms moniker, "In case I make it," takes on a much more acoustic and introspective tone than what came before it. Previously, Wood's music was known for being extremely theatrical and cluttered, blending elements of multiple genres such as piano rock, cabaret, punk, jazz and ocassionally even doo-wop, while "In case I make it," is much closer to a folk and singer-songwriter sound. The album centers around themes of Wood's personal struggles with mental health, as well as his relationship with his fans and his work.
