About
The British duo slither and seethe through a fiery mix of sludgy rock, thrashing punk, and shimmering shoegaze on their third album. Guitarist Laura-Mary Carter gives "Cold" an icy, seductive edge, echoing Karen O in a barrage of rolling rhythms and sleazy riffs, while drummer Steven Ansell tears though the caustic punk of "Je Me Perds" with unhinged rage. Together on the mic, they produce wonderfully woozy harmonies, over the haunting acoustic plod of "Night Light" and through the shivering squall that engulfs "Stop Kicking."
