Sound DNA
- Rock
The Band's second album.
Released 22 IX 1998
Compared with the band's previous album (opens in a new tab), their musical output was greatly improved, making this album much more Heavy-Metal-sounding.
As in case with its predecessor, this album also features covers of Metallica's songs (4 out of 11). However it does also feature covers of other group's songs (2 from Sepultura ("Refuse/Resist" and the abum's title track [originally from "Schizophrenia"]), and one each from Faith no More ("From Out Of Nowhere") and Pantera ("Domination (opens in a new tab)").
This album was also notable for being the band's first album to include original compositions. These are: "Harmageddon (Finland 1998) (opens in a new tab)", "M.B." (a.k.a. "Metal Boogie") and "Toreador".
Original source of Metallica Tracks:
- 3 and 8 (from "Ride The Lightning")
- 4 (from the black album (opens in a new tab))
- 11 (from "...And Justice For All")
