Recorded November 7-10, 1974 at Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, California.
On several tracks, Bill Evans alternates between the acoustic grand piano and a Fender Rhodes electric piano.
On some songs, he even plays both instruments simultaneously or uses overdubbing.
Invitation, Blue Serge (where he makes particularly prominent use of the electric piano),
Show-Type Tune, The Nature of Things, Are You All the Things, A Face Without a Name.
In contrast, the acoustic piano sound takes center stage on the remaining two tracks:
Falling Grace and Hi Lili, Hi Lo.
