After spending the past few years honing their signature grungy, buzzing sound across four EPs, Jar perfectly showcases Daylight's talent for writing songs that are both strikingly heavy and delicately emotional. Engineered and produced by Will Yip (Title Fight, Circa Survive), Jar features stadium drums, thick, pulsating bass and walls of buzzsaw guitars that are reminiscent of major label grunge breakthrough records such as Nevermind and Siamese Dream. Fans of 90s alternative bands such as Handsome, Seaweed, and Hum will all find something to love in Jar, which hearkens back to that era but still feels timeless rather than vintage.
