Third single from the album Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me recorded in the south of France at.
Before being a Cure song, an instrumental version was dedicated to the french TV show 'Les Enfants Du Rock (France 2013) (opens in a new tab)', who asked the band to write their new theme.
"Snow In Summer" and "Breathe"* were used as B-sides for the 7" singles, "Sugar Girl" and "A Chain Of Flowers"* as additional B-sides for the 12" singles. *for the US, using the "Catch" B-sides as that single wasn't released there.
It was the band's first CD single.
The sleeve shows either blue or black stripes on the border. France was the only country where two 7" versions were released with different B-sides.
On Record Store Day 2014 (April 29th), it was reissued (opens in a new tab) as part of the Side By Side (opens in a new tab) series with a 1989 cover (opens in a new tab) from Dinosaur Jr. on B side.
