About
Five albums in, Municipal Waste bassist Phil “Landphil” Hall and his twin brother, Josh, are still cranking out excellent weed-themed death metal directly inspired by the giants of the genre. Featuring the debut of new guitarist Ray Suhy (also of Six Feet Under), Left Hand Pass sees Cannabis Corpse dropping some of the brutal, Deicide-style songwriting that informed their early releases in favor of a slightly more melodic, European sound on tracks like “Grass Oblit” and “The 420th Crusade.”
