INXS played at the Wembley Stadium in London on July 13, 1991 during their "X-Factor Tour".
The band performed a 100-minute show of 22 songs: a main set of 19 songs with "Guns In The Sky", "New Sensation", "I Sent A Message", "The Stairs", "Know The Difference", "Disappear", "By My Side", "Hear That Sound", "Original Sin", "Lately", "The Loved One", "Wild Life", "Mystify", "Bitter Tears", "Suicide Blonde", "What You Need", "Kick", "Need You Tonight", "Mediate" and a encore of 3 songs with "Never Tears Us Apart", "Who Pays The Price" and "Devil Inside".
The show was recorded and broadcasted in full by the BBC Radio 1 in 1991, and was quickly released on the Somethin' Xtra (opens in a new tab) 2CD unofficial release.
In November 1991, the band released Live Baby Live (opens in a new tab), a 65-minute CD compilation recorded live during their 1990-1991 Tour in Paris, New York, Chicago, London, Dublin, Glasgow, Rio de Janeiro, Montréal, Spain (Barcelona or Madrid), Zurich, Melbourne, Sydney, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas.
Simultaneously, the almost complete Wembley Stadium concert was released on video (opens in a new tab), only missing the song "Lately".
The video was re-issued on DVD in 2001 (opens in a new tab) then in 2003 (opens in a new tab), this time with a remixed 5.1 surround sound.
In 2014, the soundtrack of the video was remastered and released on a 2CD (opens in a new tab) in Australia.
Finally in 2019 the complete Wembley Stadium concert was officially released as Live Baby Live Wembley Stadium (opens in a new tab) with a remastered 4K resolution and cinematic 16:9 widescreen video accompanied with newly restored sound presented in a Dolby Atmos mix.
