About
Recorded in Dublin in 1992, this 70-minute live performance plays like a greatest-hits set, but with all the essential energy of a rock-star singer/songwriter at his creative peak. The precise melodies of “Desperado” and “Peaceful Easy Feeling” are every bit as heartstring-tugging persuasive as they were on Eagles recordings, while Frey’s massive ’80s solo hits, such as the popping “Smuggler’s Blues” and movie anthem “The Heat Is On,” rock harder than ever with punchier horns and heavier (even chunky) guitar riffs.
