About
Three years after Pescado Rabioso's breakup, in 1976, an album titled "Lo mejor de Pescado Rabioso" was released. It was a compilation of eleven tracks previously released as singles or on albums, but its most striking feature was a powerful cover designed by Juan Gatti, depicting a bleeding fish breaking a fishbowl, the shards of glass flying through the air. In that dark year of 1976 in Argentina, Pescado Rabioso's discography was almost entirely out of print. This compilation was therefore an important release, filling the gaps in that hard-to-find material. Many teenagers who were just starting to listen to rock music during those years, under the yoke of the military dictatorship (imposed in March of that same year), discovered Pescado Rabioso's music through this album.
